Why choose Einstar 3D Scanner?
Einstar provides a wide FOV with high luminosity makes some challenging jobs of dark color, hair scan, outdoor scanning much easier. Software with smart tracking, auto alignment, easy data editing help control the data quality. The scanner and software is easy to use, very friendly to the users even it is the first time of 3d scanning.
What's the biggest/smallest object size it can scan?
Suggest Smallest Size is 100* 100* 100mm, The largest size depends on RAM, larger RAM can support larger objects.

Honestly didn't know what to expect. I jumped into 3d scanning as quickly as I had 3d printing.
Definitely Knew I was in over my head.
But honestly wasnt hard.
After much research I followed through with this purchase, I have to say I was very surprised with how easy my first scan was
(my own head of course) almost perfect tho I couldn't reach the back side of my head without help..... haha
but really first try wow I was sold immediately.
But oh man the results are incredible! since I've scanned several car parts including the entire backend of my fiero. My buddy's g35 door panels and several other shinanagins.
My favorite part is the scanning and using the files to refrence/create and 3d print perfect fitting parts.
I've played with scanning spray and dots but the dots included was much easier to maintain tracking.
I would give this product 9-10 cant beat this quality for the price and so easy to use.

If I could justify picking up the wireless scanner I would in a heart beat.

At this price point you 100% cannot find a better value, the results are more in line with pro level scanners. If you do your home work and either spec out your pc right or ensure your current set is good you will not be disappointed. I find myself at times just coming up with projects so I can use this one more. Purchasing other manufacturers devices before this one I can easily say I wish I would have just gone strait to this model.
This is a serious bit of gear. The ease of use, the accuracy, the detail capture and the software are all fantastic. This has been a much lower barrier to entering into 3D scanning than I ever imagined!
Great scanner. Easy to use. The software is intuitive and easy to use. Very powerful technology.
Unbeatable scanner for the pricepoint and the software is simple and effective. I use it extensively for medium to large automotive scans.
Small items with a lot of detail (under 5cm) can be more challenging to scan, but is not the devices fault its just not optimised for small items.
Only other thing to note is you need a semi powerful computer to drive it. Check compatibility/ details noted by shining 3d to avoid dissapointment.
For me was not an issue as I already had a CAD laptop with good nvidia graphics card.
Solid purchase. If you dont have a powerful laptop the Vega looks to be a good alternative.
